The Girl on the Train.

On Monday, I finished The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.  I had heard mixed reviews, and actually the cashier at the local Books-A-Million said that people either loved it or hated it...  I supposed that I would be in the latter group...

Reading The Girl on the Train in my new Ravenclaw lounge pants.
Definite nerd, right here...
But I wasn't.  I loved it.  Maybe it's because I adore psychological thrillers where I'm kept guessing who the culprit is right up to the reveal.  Maybe.

Reading Update.

May was kind of a slow month for me, in reading, that is.  It was so hectic with my birthday, mini-vacation, graduations, baby showers, plus visits to see G, and work (how could I forget work?...).  I really didn't have a ton of time to read like I would have liked.  I did get to read 4 books, though...three for the challenge and one just because I wanted to.  (I would have added it as my freebie, but it didn't qualify).

So what did I read, you ask?
Ella Enchanted, Gail Carson Levine
The Silent Wife, A.S.A. Harrison
Number the Stars, Lois Lowry**
Life After Life, Kate Atkinson
